New MOT Facility

The project involved the preparation and foundational construction of a brand-new MOT (Ministry of Transport) vehicle testing facility. This included extensive groundworks and the installation of essential infrastructure prior to the erection of the main building.

• Ground Reduction, Cut and Fill

• Installation of a 30-Meter Maintenance Pit

• Reinforced Concrete Floor Construction

• Reinforcement was designed to structural specifications

• A power-float finish ensured a smooth, durable surface with minimal dusting

• The floor was cast in preparation for the new building to be erected

The project delivered a high-specification base ready for the steel structure and internal fit-out of the MOT centre. All works were completed to schedule, ensuring seamless progression to the next phase of construction for client Celtic Travel.
